Posted by The results of the 2018 Hello! Project New Member Audition were unveiled on the sixth episode of Shoujo-tachi no Ketsudan ~Mitchaku!! Hello! Project 20th Anniversary Audition.
None of the eight finalists have passed the final examination by the judges. UP-FRONT Representative Director Nishiguchi Takeshi offered all finalists a spot in the Hello! Project Trainees.
Shutto Anna, Kubota Nanami, Matsubara Yuriya and Kanemitsu Ruru will join the Hello! Project Trainees immediately. Tamenaga Shion, Goto Sayaka and Hashimoto Momoko will join the Trainees pending the fruitful conclusion of talks between their parents and UP-FRONT management.
Kodama Mai has declined.
All finalists who end up definitively joining the H!P Trainees will perform their audition song Jealousy Jealousy at the December 10 Trainees recital in Tokyo.
There are three more episodes of the audition series that have yet to air. The cast members from episode 8 onwards will be Fukumura Mizuki, Kanazawa Tomoko, Uemura Akari, Takagi Sayuki, Danbara Ruru, Yanagawa Nanami, Hibi Marina, Eguchi Saya, Doi Rena, Okamura Minami and Matsunaga Riai. Narration will be handled by Nonaka Miki.
