Hello! Project will launch a new show on AbemaTV focused on their 2018 new member auditions.
Titled Shoujo-tachi no Ketsudan ~Mitchaku!! Hello! Project 20th Anniversary Audition, the show will feature an in depth look at the recruitment of the newest Hello! Project members. This is the first time in 7 years a television camera will document the entire audition process. A large amount of extra footage will also be available through Abema.
The first show airs on November 13 at 21:00 (JST). Hello! Project members and OG members confirmed to appear so far are: Wada Ayaka, Kanazawa Tomoko, Takagi Sayuki, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Yajima Maimi and Kumai Yurina.

The age range for eligible candidates is from 9 to 17. Girls applying must not already be signed to or must not be affiliated with another agency. Those who pass may be added to any existing group, join a new group or even be added to the Engeki Joshibu theater division.
